Leilani Estate is a hidden gem nestled in the St. Joseph, Maracas Valley in Trinidad.
Just to give you an estimate – it’s about a 45 minute drive from Port of Spain, an hour and 10 minutes from San Fernando or if you’re from East Trinidad, it’s most likely not far from you!
This vast Estate is located right before the turn off to go to the Maracas Waterfall hike. It was named after the owner’s daughter “Leilani” and in Sanskrit, this name means “heavenly flower.” After a short drive from the entrance, passing through the lush foliage, tropical flowers and amidst the soothing sounds of the nearby gurgling river and bird songs, you’re here!

Leilani Estate was once part of the historic Cadbury Estate. In fact, the late 19th Century was a time when cocoa reigned as king crop in Trinidad and Tobago, since cocoa was in great demand on the world market, in part due to the invention of milk chocolate in 1875. We say all this to demonstrate that Leilani Estate offers the perfect blend of history and rustic charm for your next event.
Who wouldn’t be at peace here? Large, stately trees flank the property and of course, the river flows peacefully alongside it for added ambiance.

OUTDOOR WEDDINGS
Imagine hosting your cocktail hour right by the pool? This pool is actually filled with cool, refreshing water from the nearby river, adding a natural touch to the ambiance. It’s also wheelchair-accessible, making it an enjoyable space for everyone if hosting a family gathering.
Adjacent to the pool, there’s a spacious covered area equipped with ceiling fans, offering a cool and shaded space. If your event takes place during warmer hours, additional porta-cool units can be arranged to keep guests comfortable. This covered area can easily be transformed into a stunning outdoor reception or party venue, complete with tables and chairs included in your rental.
Nearby, a dedicated bar and kitchen area make it easy to keep refreshments flowing.
INDOOR WEDDINGS
If choosing the indoor option here, the majestic waterwheel and antique cannon greet your guests as they walk up the steps – ideal for an instagrammable moment!
If you’re not after an outdoor set-up, you can head inside into the fully air-conditioned interior which will ensure that you and your guests stay comfortable, no matter the weather. This room can accommodate up to 250 persons and has nearby bathrooms. And again, the chairs, tables and the PA system are all included with your rental.
