I CAN’T START MY DAY UNTIL:
I’ve had a cup of black coffee in my special “Paris” teacup.

YOU’LL NEVER SEE ME WITHOUT:
A mini notepad in my purse for writing down ideas and thoughts.

ON MY BOOKSHELF:
I have an entire wall of books…but I love anything by Jane Austen, Jhumpa Lahiri and Frank McCourt

PERSONAL STYLE :
Feminine meets modern.

When I was a kid I wanted to be:
A cartoonist!

ON MY BUCKET LIST:
Trips to Portugal, Greece and India.

“NIGHT OUT” OR “EVENING IN”:
Definitely “night out”….heaven knows all I would do with an “evening in” is to sleep. I love my bed.

MY COLLECTIONS:
Vintage jewelry (mostly from the 1950s and 1960s), teapots, teaspoons from around the world ( I inherited my aunt’s collection and have kept it going)

SPLURGES:
Massages, champagne and good perfume!

FAVOURITE TUNES:
Fleetwood Mac, U2, Sting, Sade, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Lana del Ray, ole school dub and some sappy 1980’s music for good measure!

TRINI FOODS I CRAVE:
Kachories with green mango chutney, curried crab and dumplings and homemade ginger beer.

CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT:
My car and my posture-pedic pillow

BEAUTY SECRETS:
Vitamin C, Castor oil (grows those eyelashes!), Coconut oil and good skincare products

SUCCESS IS:
Right at the corner of where you’re most comfortable and where you’re not.

BEST PART OF MY JOB:
I like that I get to use my “business” brain and my “creative brain” equally. I also get to surround myself with beauty all the time – whether it’s beautiful souls or beautiful work. I get to appreciate the talent of designers, artisans, “creatives” and even D.I.Y brides and to distill and curate those ideas and products for our website and magazine.

 CAREER ADVICE I WISH I HAD 5 YEARS AGO:
Focus on your own goals, nobody knows what’s right for you except you.

ABOVE ALL ELSE:
Stay true to yourself. Trust your instincts.
