The TW Story
2004
- A beautiful year to start something magical – our website was born. First wedding website to be launched in Trinidad and Tobago.
- At the time, it was just a tiny 12 page website, ready to bloom!
2005
- TW hosts first wedding column featuring local content in the Trinidad Guardian Newspaper. Our column ran every Sunday for 11 years!
2006
- TW’s Founder – a finalist in the “Young Woman of The Year” Awards, Trinidad & Tobago
- Launch of TW’s Bridal Classifieds
2007
- Start of the TW Blog, now TW Loves
- 1st TW Tea party for brides at Crews Inn
2008
- Launch of TW Limited Edition Bridal Emergency Kits and TW Tote Bags
- TW Hits the Airwaves! – the first Radio Segment featuring wedding tips called “The Bride’s Bubble” on Heartbeat Radio for Women 103.5FM!
- 2nd Annual TW Tea party for brides at Crews Inn
2009
- Launch of our digital TW Wed-Zine’s first issue
2010
- Our digital magazine in 2009 got thousands of downloads, so we launched our magazine in hardcopy and made it available for sale, at retailers in Trinidad and Tobago
2011
- TW becomes E-commerce enabled and hardcopy TW Wed-Zine magazines become available to global buyers online
2012
- TW featured in Caribbean Beat Magazine
2013
- TW Wed-Zine goes digital – 1st local magazine to be available for global digital download sale.
- TW App for Android and Apple launched and continued until 2015
- Launch of The Wedding Coach – TW’s wedding planning consultancy service
- TW Wins Special Award from the Project Management Institute (PMI) Southern Caribbean Chapter for “Most Creative Use of Project Management Techniques” for the 2013 TW Wed-Zine Magazine.
- Partnered with Unit Trust Corporation for a video, promoting their services to engaged couples
- TW co-founded and co-hosted The Wedding Convention – Movietowne (* Note: we no longer are affiliated with or endorse this event)
2014
- Launch of our wedding vendor networking event: Evenings with TW

2015
- For the first time, a Caribbean bridal magazine (ours!) featured 3 brides on the cover and one of them, a bride in a hijab. We’re always celebrating our diversity!
- 2nd Annual wedding vendor networking event: Evenings with TW at House of Angostura
2016
- 3rd wedding vendor networking event, Evenings with TW at The Normandie Hotel
- Cash flow management seminar for wedding vendors – at The Normandie Hotel
2017
- Start of our Bride University Workshop – Queen’s Hall, Port of Spain
- Partnered with Porsche to promote their Panamera to our audience
2018 - Hosted our “Wedding Catering Trends” Event – Woodbrook
- Our Bride University Workshop held in San Fernando
- We are one of the show partners for NCIC’s Shaadi Mela wedding expo
- Partnered with Ashley Home Store, conducting a Wedding Planning Masterclass
- Partnered with Excellent Stores for a national campaign, roving to all locations educating couples on wedding planning and bridal registry service
2019 - Our Bride University Workshop held in Chaguanas
- Hosted “The Future Mr. & Mrs. Bridal Show” – Chaguanas
- TW’s Founder wins TTCSI’s “Services Go Global” Award
2020
- Start of our online TW Marketplace – a self-service platform for vendors to post services and products
- Selected as one of the “Chic 100 Best Wedding Blogs,” globally
2021 - Started TW Luxe – business consulting for wedding and event vendors
2023 - TW launched its first wedding planning book for DIY brides: “It’s Knot Difficult!” – available on Amazon (hardcopy), Kindle or for digital download to any device.
2024 - We celebrated 20 years in the wedding industry!
- TW was featured in a 3 page spread in FashionTT’s online magazine
